Twin Arrows is a great Route 66 roadside cafe turned truckstop. It is definitely worth a visit; you can't miss the "twin arrows" sticking out of the ground next to the cafe. As you leave this area, you will notice the change in surroundings as the scrub landscape of Eastern Arizona gives way to the tall pine forests that dominate the mid-section of the state.
